Introducing our candidate for the 2025 Prahran By-election!

Faith developed a love for animals and the environment during childhood, where she grew up surrounded by wildlife and watched in awe as her dad performed the occasional possum rescue. 

Over time, she connected her respect for animals and nature with the practical solution of being vegan. 

Faith has lived and worked in the Prahran district for 3 years, having always loved its people and unique vibrance. Able to connect with people from all walks of life, Faith is known for listening with an open mind and responding with balance. 

Working in town planning Communications, Faith is aware of how spaces impact communities. Harnessing this knowledge, she will drive change towards an urban environment that aligns with nature while benefiting human wellbeing. On the side, Faith channels her passion for humanitarianism and animal welfare at Pet Medical Crisis, a charity saving pets for families in hardship. 

Proving that we can enrich human quality of life without failing our responsibility to protect animals and the environment, Faith will provide an unconventional and fresh perspective to Prahran – challenging the mainstream parties while driving concrete, positive change.

Faith’s priorities include:

• Ending duck shooting and greyhound racing in response to community demand. 
• Alleviating cost of living pressures via accessible veterinary care.
• Reducing companion animal surrender and euthanasia, given the overwhelming euthanasia rates within some contracted pound services in the electorate.
• Creating dedicated spaces for greyhounds to relieve penalties and restrictions on the breed.
• Increasing family violence support services and pet crisis accommodation.
• Driving conservation efforts with greening and rewilding, also supporting initiatives that repair, reuse and recycle to reduce waste and household costs.
