"I know a lot of you have been waiting for this. I’m here at Lort Smith for the Victorian Government’s response to the Taskforce on Rehoming Pets, which I was so proud to chair.
17 important recommendations were made to improve companion animal survival rates and transparency within the pet rehoming sector. I’m so thrilled to announce every single one of them has been supported. Every. Single. One.
This is huge news for our companion animals and the dedicated Victorians who care for them."
