Each year approximately 2.5 million animals including cows, sheep, goats, buffalo and alpacas face the horrors of Australian live export by sea and air. Join us on May 1st on the steps of Parliament of Victorian to tell the Federal Government to end the inherently cruel Live Animal Export industry.
RALLY SPEAKERS
- Bronwyn Currie - AJP Senate Candidate, AJP State Convenor
- Chris Delforce - AJP Senate Candidate, Director of Dominion, Founder of Farm Transparency Project
- Pam Ahern - Founder of Edgar's Mission
- Andy Meddick MP - Victorian Parliament
- Emma Håkansson - Founder of Collective Fashion Justice
We want this on the Federal Election agenda NOW! The government on 5 April repealed the safety cap on live exporting during the northern summer. The caps existed because thousands of Australian sheep died in horrific circumstances: literally baking to death. We will not back down on this issue no matter how much the LNP or Labor want it to go away. We'll see you all on May 1st, no matter the weather, to make noise for the animals and to demand that live export is a Federal Election issue for the last time!
Australians care deeply about animals. Together, we can end live export.
