Apply to be a State Election Candidate

We are now calling for candidates to fill Upper and Lower House Seats for the 2022 Victorian State Election.

Our first Victorian MP, Andy Meddick, was elected in 2018 and has proven the importance of having political representation in the Victorian Parliament in order to make changes for animals.

This year, we hope to have multiple candidates elected to the Victorian Parliament. By doing so, we can form a strong crossbench to hold the government to account and introduce bills to end animal cruelty.

This is where you come in!

Standing as an AJP candidate plays a critical role in increasing public awareness of animal cruelty and the Party, increasing our vote and of course, in winning more MPs! The more candidates we have, and seats we run in, the more chance we have of getting multiple MPs elected.

Review the application form below for more information on eligibility criteria. Then complete the application and wait to hear from our Elections Team!
