Chloe Nicolosi for North East Metro

Chloe has been a dedicated advocate for animal welfare from a young age and is now proudly standing as the Animal Justice Party candidate in the 2026 State Election, for the North Eastern Metropolitan Region.

In 2013, she was awarded Zoos Victoria's Young Advocate of the Year for her work on the Don't Palm Us Off campaign and has continued to fight for animals ever since.

As a corporate analyst working with emerging technologies, Chloe is passionate about harnessing innovation to serve both animal welfare and social justice causes. She has studied Information Technology and Psychology and is currently completing a Juris Doctor to further strengthen her ability to drive meaningful policy change.

Chloe is committed to advancing the Animal Justice Party's core policies, including banning live exports, an industry that subjects animals to appalling conditions on long, cruel journeys. She also supports phasing out factory farming to end the suffering of millions of animals and also to tackle climate change. With animal agriculture being a leading contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, shifting away from factory farming will significantly reduce Australia’s environmental footprint. Chloe is a strong proponent of government investment in cultivated meat and precision fermentation as ethical and sustainable alternatives, and she has been an early supporter of Magic Valley - an Australian company pioneering this field.

Beyond her work in animal welfare, Chloe has also been a dedicated advocate for affordable housing. She has experience as a volunteer paralegal, and has assisted tenants facing unfair treatment from landlords to navigate VCAT disputes. Her firsthand experience has reinforced her belief that affordable housing is a fundamental right, and she is committed to policies that address the housing crisis, including increased investment in affordable housing and limiting negative gearing.

Chloe is equally passionate about protecting Australia’s native wildlife. She supports an end to barbaric practices like 1080 poisoning and recreational hunting, which cause immense suffering and harm fragile ecosystems.

In her spare time, Chloe enjoys reading, playing guitar, and spending time with her beloved animals - her border collie, Molly, and her rescue cats, Dennis and Maude.

Support Chloe's Campaign

We rely on donors like you to run in the 2026 State Election. Your contribution helps fund the essentials that make campaigning possible — advertising, printing, outreach, and getting our message in front of voters.

Without grassroots support, we can’t compete with major party spending. With it, we can win seats and change outcomes for animals across the state.
