Eltham born and raised, Louise is standing up for a kinder, fairer community.
Louise is a lifelong Eltham resident, a small business owner, a parent of four and a grandmother of one. Equality for all, humans and animals alike, is at the heart of everything she does.
Animals have been part of Louise’s life for as long as she can remember, and she has shared her home with pets of all kinds. She believes every animal deserves love, respect and compassion, and a life free from cruelty and suffering. We have a responsibility to protect their welfare and to value their lives for more than what they can offer us.
Strengthening animal cruelty laws is a cause close to Louise’s heart. She wants to see stronger protections for animals and real accountability for those responsible for cruelty. She believes we must keep challenging practices that cause unnecessary suffering and work towards a kinder community for all living beings.
Louise’s commitment to compassion extends well beyond animal welfare. She cares deeply about protecting our environment and preserving our planet for her children, her grandchild and generations to come. The choices we make today will shape the world they inherit, and we have a duty to leave it in better condition than we found it.
She also believes everyone deserves to feel safe, accepted and respected for who they are. Equality, fairness and inclusion matter to her, and she wants to help build a society where differences are embraced and everyone is treated with dignity and understanding.
For Louise, when something isn’t right, we shouldn’t look the other way. Even small actions can make a difference, whether that’s speaking up, supporting a cause or standing alongside those who need help. Change begins when ordinary people care enough to make their voices heard.
Louise is proud to stand with the Animal Justice Party, working to:
