Major Victories for Animals in the 2023 Budget!

In case you missed it - $16 million dollars was dedicated to animal protection in the State Budget. In a budget focused on covid debt recovery, this is huge. 

The Animal Justice Party AJP Victoria has worked hard to ensure animals are heard and considered in Victoria. Until we were here, there was nobody to submit funding requests on behalf of them.

To have companion animals and wildlife recognised as deserving of support is always a long game. And this proves that with animal advocates like Georgie Purcell MP elected into parliament, we can and are creating a kinder state.
