📅 Monday 2 November 2026 (the day before the Melbourne Cup)
🕐 11am – 1pm
📍 Starting at Flinders Street Station (corner of Flinders Street and Swanston Street), Melbourne

Co-hosted by the Animal Justice Party Victoria, the Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses and Vegan Australia.

Hit the streets of Melbourne to celebrate animals instead of exploiting them!

Last year's Nup to the Cup Parade was a successful first run at replacing the traditional Melbourne Cup Parade, and this year we're making it even better.

With the whole country's attention on Melbourne, it's the perfect opportunity for animal lovers to come together and raise awareness of the cruelty of horse racing and other industries that exploit animals.

Our slogan this year is "Celebrating Animals, Not Exploiting Them". We want everyone who cares about animals to be able to celebrate them and have a positive, fun day out.

What to know if you're coming:

• We'll gather at Flinders Street Station at 11am and expect to finish around 1pm
• Banners, flags and placards will be provided
• Organisations are very welcome to bring their own animal-friendly placards

See you there for the animals!
