Parks Victoria's Disability Action Plan

Parks are for everybody. To make sure our parks are inclusive and welcoming for all Victorians, Parks Victoria develops a Disability Action Plan every four years.

The Animal Justice Party values the rich diversity of life and believes that all individuals deserve to be treated equally, with dignity and respect. Time spent in nature and in green spaces has demonstrated positive benefits on stress, anxiety and mental health. This is particularly beneficial for people with disability whose levels of stress and anxiety may be high from the challenges they encounter every day.

The Animal Justice Party proudly contributed a 16-page submission to this consultation and provided 28 recommendations.

You can download and read our full submission below, and click through to the findings of the consultation.
