We are thrilled to announce the 2023 National Conference – the Animal Justice Party's annual, members-only weekend on 11-12th November!

This year's National Conference, "It's Politics", focuses on the foundations of our political endeavour. Hear from a host of expert speakers on Getting Elected, Developing Policy , Winning Advocacy Campaigns, Organising Volunteers and our Party Values. The best part is you can join in person in Melbourne or online!

Our program concentrates on the core business of being a political party - Getting Elected, Developing Policy, Advocacy Campaigns, Organising Volunteers and our Party Values. With the option to attend live in Melbourne or livestream it all online, we hope to inspire you to become confident candidates and empowered organisers! At the very least, we expect you will have a much broader understanding of Who We Are, What We Do and How We Do It! 

If you join us in person, you will also get to enjoy very fancy, all-day, delicious vegan catering, you'll meet with other Members from across Australia and take away a nifty Conference Bag! Online attendees will be sent the 4 stickers in the post!

How do I attend?

We are thrilled to be able to offer this conference both in person in Melbourne and streamed online to Members who can't make it to Australia's Most Liveable City.

In-person (Attendee Tickets): For those of you who have been keen to reconnect in person, we will be overjoyed to see you at the Fitzroy Town Hall, and we look forward to meeting friends, new and old. 

Online (Web Tickets): For those who’d prefer to access the conference virtually, we’ll be broadcasting all sessions live and you’ll be able to take part in the Q&A sessions as well.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to interact and socialise if you attend online. We’ll be running special interactive workshops where you’ll be able to see and hear your fellow online participants, and there’ll be social rooms where you can mingle (virtually) during the breaks!

All sessions will be recorded and all ticket holders will have access to watch back later.

Conference Dinner at SHU Collingwood 

We are very excited to open up tickets for the official National Conference Dinner at SHU in Collingwood. We've booked the whole venue!

Join us for a 7-course degustation menu and a fun night for all. Tickets are limited so get in quick to avoid disappointment!

SHU celebrates Sichuan cuisine and showcases that vegan dining is not only conscious-oriented but also fun, elegant and delicious. Their plant-only kitchen is inspired by Southwest of China's Sichuan cuisine, using local and seasonal produce, executed with a creative mind and contemporary philosophy.

Do you want to help with the conference? We welcome member volunteers to come forward to sign up to help with registration, merch desk, raffle & sponsorship, food service, tech support and, of course, the all-important Saturday night dinner. All volunteers are eligible for concession price tickets.
